Are you working in a confined space? Looking for a training course that can teach you how to work in a confined space? You are at the right place. Here at Affordable Truck School, our confined space training course is designed in a way that a risk assessment is done and then you will be allowed to enter into a confined space to work. To provide you with a real-time experience of working in a confined space, we have designed a simulated area that will help you to understand the activities that you will be going through when working in a confined space.
One of the advantages of this course is we will be providing you with high-quality training materials and safety equipment and it trains you on identifying potential hazards and working safely in a confined space.

After completing the course, you will be provided with a statement of attainment of certificate that is recognised nationally along with a photo ID card.
COURSE OUTLINE:
This course trains people on how to enter and work in confined spaces in industries related to resources and infrastructure. The confined spaces training course focuses on training people on how to prepare themselves to work in a confined space, and how to access and inspect the confined space, and it also provides you instructions on working and exiting the confined space.
We understand that all of us have a busy schedule, so in order to make the course accessible to everyone, we offer the course 7 days a week The duration of the course runs as long as the training person achieves competency and is fit to enter the confined workspace. We pride ourselves in offering the best training facility and required accreditation.
This training consists of two parts, the first one is theory and the second is practical training. The theory part of the course has professionally created PowerPoint presentations, clips, and videos related to safety instructions. After completing the theory part of the training, you will be given a practical training plan with complete RIIWHS202D elements and tasks for you to practice.
You can only be job-ready when you have practical training. Our training site is designed in a way that it resembles a real-time work environment. You will be learning the necessary skills in a real-time work environment.
After completing both theory and practical training you will be moving towards assessments. Once you successfully complete the assessments, you are practically ready to work in a confined space.
We also offer VOC (verification of competency) and RPL (recognition of prior learning) courses for this unit.
DURATION: 1 day (depending on students skill level)
PREREQUISITES
Potential Confined Spaces training students must:
- Be at least 15 years old at commencement of training (WH&S requirement)
- Provide two forms of ID
- Be able to read and write basic English (WH&S requirement)
- Wear steel cap boots or sturdy work boots to training
